Experience the sensation of lightness
Together with our long-time partners, the Italian studio Baldanzi & Novelli designers, we have developed a number of successful furniture collections for modern offices and public spaces. Mutual trust and understanding led to working together on another ambitious project. We aimed to create an iconic chair that would be in keeping with NARBUTAS’ design motto of ‘Nothing unnecessary’, from the headrest to the castors.
D-CHAIR is a collection of chairs that harmoniously combines minimalist design with innovative engineering solutions. All the details not only create a modern aesthetic and a sensation of lightness but also ensure the ultimate sitting comfort.
We wanted a linear, continuous and simple structure. We were inspired by herons flying lightly above the water and resting on it. We thought of bamboo reeds, so slender and so strong in the wind.

Two types of chairs
This collection consists of two types of chairs – an executive chair with a high backrest and a task chair with a lower backrest, which can also be a comfortable choice for meeting spaces. The chairs in the D-CHAIR collection can be easily used in a variety of modern office spaces while maintaining a stylish overall look.
Seamless minimalist design
D-CHAIR is simply an eye-catcher with its minimalist aesthetics and ergonomic forms. The seat merges gracefully with the backrest and is shaped to follow the curves of a sitting body. The backrest and seat of the chair are made of a continuous mesh that is transparent. This gives the chair a sense of lightness and emphasises the beauty of its structure. The mechanism of this modern chair is integrated into the overall structure of the chair so that it does not seem to exist. You will also not notice any protruding levers for height adjustment or other functions. The professional product development team has meticulously designed every curve, rounded shapes, joints of the chair and thickness of its components. The seamless seat monoblock is made up of many different yet interacting parts that come together to form an indivisible unity, creating an innovative design. This is the main feature of D-CHAIR that makes it so unique and guarantees maximum sitting comfort.
Pleasant sitting experience
The backrest, seat and synchro mechanism integrated into the chair work together to form a flexible structure for exceptional user comfort. The soft yet firm movement of the chair gives a pleasant sensation of lightness. As Baldanzi & Novelli designers, the creators of the D-CHAIR, point out, when leaning back, you can feel how effortlessly it reclines, while following your body’s movements. And to take the chair to an even higher level of the desired comfort, you can choose the options that are best suited to your needs. Two buttons integrated on the sides of the seat allow you to adjust the height and lock the backrest for a comfortable working position. And at the bottom of the seat you will find a knob for adjusting the tension of the backrest.

Mesh for air circulation.
D-CHAIR has a mesh that is soft, light and elastic to adapt to the shape of the user’s back, yet firm enough to provide pleasant support. It is also a breathable material. Free-flowing air will prevent overheating and keep the user comfortable.
Integrated support for your head and neck relaxation.
This additional part of the executive chair helps to relieve the neck tension and provides support and comfort for the head and neck when leaning back. The headrest is recommended for people who work in a sitting position for long periods. In addition, you can easily move the chair from one place to another by holding it by its upper frame.
Three different types of armrests.
Choose the armrests that best suit your needs. Fixed and adjustable 2D and 4D armrests with unique design are available. Correctly adjusted armrests relieve unnecessary strain on the upper spine, neck and shoulders and help you sit in a good posture.
A variety of choices to create the desired image
Create the image you want with D-CHAIR! Choose from three chair frame colours and six mesh colours that perfectly reflect today’s office trends. Both colourful and monochrome combinations are possible with this choice. The latter combinations are long lasting and can be easily applied in both new and existing interiors. By using chairs that combine several different colours, you can bring more liveliness and subtle playfulness to your interior design.
