KITE acoustic ceiling panels – geometry that creates acoustic comfort
In modern office interiors, open-plan spaces with industrial-style ceilings are increasingly dominant. While they create a sense of openness and modernity, hard surfaces reflect sound, resulting in reverberation and an overall increase in noise levels. In such environments, it becomes essential not only to manage sound effectively but also to create a calmer, visually harmonious setting.
In response to the growing market demand to combine acoustic comfort with aesthetics, we have developed KITE – acoustic ceiling panels where functionality meets expressive design. The collection has been created in collaboration with the international design studio MUCNYC.
The KITE collection was developed from the idea of transforming a flat PET surface into a three-dimensional form that combines design and acoustic performance. Precise cuts and folding principles give the material a new dimension – creating visual rhythm, shaping more intimate spaces and helping to establish a calmer, more balanced working environment.

The collection includes acoustic ceiling panels in five shapes
The KITE collection consists of acoustic ceiling panels in a variety of forms – from flat and rectangular to round, oval and more expressive shapes. This diversity allows for the creation of dynamic ceiling compositions, enables spatial zoning, and helps maintain a cohesive interior aesthetic.
A design inspired by the movement of kites
The idea for KITE was inspired by watching kites flying in the wind, where a flat form, caught by the wind, transforms into a three-dimensional shape. Based on this principle, a collection of acoustic products has been created – ceiling panels with three-dimensional forms that interact with light, air and sound.
The synergy of design and engineering principles
A three-dimensional structure is created from flat PET material using a specialised cutting and folding technique. This creates a spatial surface that adds visual depth and produces a subtle interplay of light and shadow. This three-dimensional form not only serves an aesthetic purpose but also increases the surface area, enabling more effective sound absorption and diffusion. As a result, acoustics are improved in open spaces.
A sustainable solution
Acoustic products made from PET felt support responsible resource use, as they are manufactured from recycled materials. PET felt – the primary material used in KITE – contains more than 50% recycled plastic. The panels meet fire classification B-s1, d0, certified in accordance with EN 13501-1.
Adaptability across different spaces
KITE can be easily adapted to a wide range of environments – from individual workstations to contemporary open-plan offices, as well as corridors, lobbies, reception areas and public spaces such as cafés or libraries. The variety of shapes and connection options provides the freedom to create acoustic compositions of different scales and to define more intimate zones. Panels can be suspended individually or connected together, helping to create a calmer, more balanced environment.
